I felt SO sad when I thought it was Spike behind the kidnapping... It can be easy sometimes to forget what he and Angel did in the past and this was a terrible reminder. I feel bad for Angel. He's now looked down on by Buffy/Giles etc when it's not what they are thinking at all 🥺

Wasn't this a great one Jules! I love this episode. It's very dark and disturbing at times (Spike's hands!), but then at the end we had this beautiful scene with Angel/Spike, bonding. Yes, they were innocent, once upon a time. And then we had the surprise of Andrew showing up. Were we disappointed? Well, as they say in Mexico...No!:-) His storytelling just cracks me up. "Gather around...", "yes attractive slender woman"...LOL. But that ending, with him saying "where do you think my orders came from?"... Ouch! Yes, as you said, of course Buffy's gang thinks that working for W&H isn't good. And that isn't what Team Angel wanted to hear.

The last scene is one of the most powerful in the whole Buffyverse. This is in my top five episodes of the season as well. I love the exploration of the impact to making all potentials slayers.
