When I stopped in front of my house, my mother asked, "You coming home this weekend?"

"I didn't notice," Alex said with a serious expression. "I just thought no one wanted to talk after that exchange in the pool."
I looked at her in the mirror, and I had to concede the point, "She is right; no one wanted to talk, Minx." I replied as I drove away from the house. "Alex, do you have anything you need to do tomorrow?" I asked.

hmm, I think overall I liked that they acted mostly good and tried to calm down and doing that after being relaxed after a good massage was likely the right point for such a conversation. Such conversations are often best after people are relaxed or full of food,(without Alkohol) else I would have expected Angela or her mum, to explode in anger at one point, going to far, like that it's maybe not fully in character..to make up and talk reasonable, but more human nature.

Honestly, I did not like writing this chapter. I do not know why but I would love feed back on it. I almost deleted this chapter and I actually had to restart it 7 times. I do not know what I am hating so much about it but I would love to hear reactions or thoughts on it because of how much my mind hated writing it. But after restarting and redoing and trying again over 7 times I had to post for reactions otherwise I was going to stall out and not publish anything today or probably tomorrow or next week for that matter. Love to hear from your and I do hope you enjoy it.
