Trap Online Chapter 177: Call Anytime
🕑 Added 2023-06-02 12:02:51 +0000 UTCBefore I even knew it, dinner was finished, and I was gathering dust in my head while I blanked out. I didn't even notice that dinner was over while I was lost in thought. The ladies around me continued to talk about the game. The Quests that Gabby was on were not very interesting, in my opinion, although I would have been doing those if I didn't pick the random location.
I had to admit I was a little jealous of Li and how she landed in a crafting village. I didn't want to follow this thought, and finally, I released myself from this funk and decided I wanted to talk to my daughter. I felt like I hadn't talked to her in too long and stood up, "Hey, I finished up, and I think I want to talk to my daughter. Please continue," I said, dismissing myself.
The ladies watched me, and Victoria gave me the weirdest look as I walked out of the kitchen. I walked calmly to my office, quickly grabbed my phone, and called her. On the second ring, I heard my daughter say, "Hey, Dad," I heard her say, "How are you doing?" She asked.
"Not too bad, Things have been a little weird with four people in the place, but I will not say things have been bad," I told her truthfully.
"That is good to hear, Seriously," My daughter replied, and I could almost feel the smile through her tone and words. "I will not lie and say I haven't been worried about you. Still, I have been holding myself back. I hope you will call me more, but I am also swamped with schoolwork. I have been finding some time to level. I just reached level thirteen," She reported happily, "You, Dad?" She asked.
I was a little blown away, "To be honest, I am level twelve at the time, but I am in a more non-combat role in the party." I told her and winced as I didn't wish to tell her I was a succubus in the game world.
"interesting! We might need to find different criteria than just level them for our little competition then," I could hear the smirk in her voice as she said, "You know to help my dear old dad have a 'level' playing field."
"I can hear the cocky smirk you have at this moment," I told her sternly, "You know what happens to those that are arrogant?" I said.
"That very arrogance takes them down," She reported, "So what have you slowing down in levels?" She asked dutifully.
"Simple, changing leveling areas," I told her, "I have learned, or should I say our Group has learned, that it is much different leveling in Cities versus forests. The worthwhile quests were combat situated when we were in the Elven forest. That is still true in the Cities, but the real rewarding ones inside the city that bring the real experience require more than just going out and killing." I told her, although it also sounded like an excuse.
"Excuses," My daughter helpfully called me out, "You can level up and gather information for other quests. Knowing you, you are planning something for the long term. You are a planner, Daddy. You planned your future up to the moment you invested too well and lost the challenge." She went silent, "I am glad you are planning things again. How are you feeling truly?"
The question hit me in a spot where I didn't know how to reply. She was right; she knew me well. I reached all my plans before my planning even reached it, and now I was planning in this game again. I loved the challenge of the plan and implementing the plan. It wasn't only that I think I reached my funk that everyone was insisting I leave either. The fact that my family tried to use my money for themselves before abandoning me. No, that wasn't true, I abandoned them because they were using me without thought to my feelings.
I took a deep breath and turned back to the conversation, "I am feeling good. I have some plans, although they are hardly concrete. How is assassinating in-game?" I asked.
"The thrill of waiting for the moment when the target is amazing. It even helps me with classes, if I am going to be honest!" She announced, and I could hear the grin in her voice yet again. "While I am waiting for that perfect moment, it allows me to think about my projects and my own plans. So I tend to do an assassination before I start my school work. By then, I have a plan in place, and I can execute it properly, as you taught me."
"Good, Good," I replied happily. I loved that she was implementing the abilities I tried to teach her when she was younger. "I am so glad you are doing well both in-game and at school. I just wanted to hear your voice," I told her, "I just felt like it was important tonight," I finished.
"Daddy," I heard her say with what I could only expect were tears in her eyes. "Don't go away, Daddy," She said, "You know that, right? I love you for who you are. Don't just leave me, okay? You have me a little worried about how you are talking."
"Oh," I said, and it was like something clicked in my head, "I am not getting ready for anything," I told her seriously, "I just wanted to hear your voice as I was thinking about you, and I missed you a little. I love you too," I replied, wanting to calm her worries.
"Okay, But I am going to call Victoria too," She said, "Are you doing anything special tonight?" She asked.
"Not really, Although I went on a date night with Victoria the other night. We were supposed to go again, but I canceled for reasons I don't want to get into." I paused and sighed, "Sorry, I don't want to get too much into it, but I just wanted to check in on my little girl to see if you are enjoying yourself."
"Of course, I am enjoying myself!" She announced.
"Any Men? Women?" I asked when I realized that I never asked before, "Maybe a little Femboy or Butch Woman?" I asked, and I felt my face heating. I couldn't help but realize in the back of my head that I fell into the category right now, sitting in a pink dress.
"No, Daddy," I heard her say embarrassingly, "I got to go, Daddy; I will come to visit soon, though! Remember that you can call anytime. Although you might have to leave a message if I am in class or in-game," I could hear her fleeing.
I smirked as I had gotten her back for that earlier comment on the competition between us. "Good night," I said finally.
"Good Night, Daddy; I am missing you," She said and hung up, and I couldn't help but feel my smile grow larger.
"Any Butch women in your life?" Victoria said with a large smirk, "I know about a little Femboy I am seeing and am looking forward to being in my bedroom tonight."
My face blushed hard, and Victoria smiled brightly. Then her phone rang, and she looked away, "Oh, that is your Daughter, Checking in on you." She said, "See you in my room," She said, turning and showing me her ass as she departed for her phone where ever she left it.
My face was heated, but I found myself looking forward to tonight. I could tell already that Victoria had something in mind.

I noticed your earlier comment and this one. I do not want to ruin or spoil things, but I have plans with everyone. Please be patient as things develop I really do not want to say more and I just don't want to ruin the story. I have a lot planned for Trap Online. I have development plans for both Inside the game world and outside with everyone involved. I know this really isn't saying much but as the Author saying more than this will literally ruin major story plots, and I have made some subtle hints in the past on these points. Very Subtle ones and not-so-subtle ones. I really want to be more open about the things that are coming up but I keep to my no spoilers rule.
