Trap Online Chapter 200: Breakfast Meeting
🕑 Added 2024-01-11 08:01:25 +0000 UTCGloom was done with me as people woke up, and she helped me into the shower and washed up with me. It was odd the cuddly feeling she gave off after a serious round of her dominating me, but I wouldn't say I hated it. I loved being in the embrace of others after being treated like that. It was like I was being acknowledged as a person after losing that right temporarily.
It was such an odd thing that I used to never care for. Now, after experiencing the feelings that sex and intimacy brought, I felt closer to people than I had ever had before. Victoria or Viccy smiled as she found me almost limping out of the bathroom as she logged in just before I left the bathroom. She gave me a knowing smile, and I could see the genuine humor in her as she was coming back from her miscarriage that she just learned about.
I could tell that it was still affecting her, but the smile she was showing me now was one that told me that she understood and was enjoying the torment I was put under. I looked at her with an expression that made her chuckle, and she started to head downstairs. I started to cook, and Gloom decided to help me. By the time we were finished, we started to eat, and we talked about our plans to start the quest.
This was a quest that was seeking information from everywhere in the slums. I would have to give up a few days in the brothel to go around and learn. The biggest question was if we should travel together, which I turned down. "No, if we go together, we will never get the information we need unless we are very lucky," I said, "I think me and Iona going to churches would make the most sense," I reasoned, "We can check out churches and see which ones are the most active in these areas. In fact, what I would say we should do is half a day to find the most and least populous churches and religious factions in the slums; Iona and I can check them out."
"Well, I know me being around asking questions is going to get people's suspicions up," Naughty suddenly added in, "I am a paladin of the Hellfire Church, so what should I do?" She asked.
"Defend the house?" I replied, and they received a couple of nods. Naughty frowned, but she also made an excellent point. We were out here looking for who did something to the Hellfire church, and this led to the organizations that were leading the charge against the population and stood to gain from their suffering. The Hellfire church currently had too little clergy to compete with them.
"I don't like it, but I think you are Right." Naughty said, then glared at me, "That man, Mark, isn't interested in having fun with me, though," She pouted, and I shook our head.
Mark was definitely only into me in our group. The rest were inconsequential to him. He was currently eating through our gold because we had nowhere to sell his amazing weapons yet. I knew Viccy had ideas to action some to the players, which was a fantastic idea. Eventually, we would have to come up with an alternative, but the undeveloped market was a great place to start and make a large income.
"I know what I am going to do," Viccy suddenly jumped in, "I am going to spy on the clergy of some of the orders. Something about the order of Sisters Grace has been bothering me. They seem to speak at length about needing their lord's grace to save them. We were on a Quest, and there was a lot of clergy talking about how the Sister's grace would save them about this and that, and one of them was quite insistent on talking about sickness. However, that seems normal for all religious orders. Something about the way they were going about it makes me suspect them more." Viccy told the group.
"Maybe I go with Iona or by myself to see if I might be in need of 'Saving' myself and what will happen if I do?" I said rhetorically, and I saw everyone think.
"I think I should join you if you are going to do so. You are a demon, by the way," Iona pointed out.
"I agree with Iona," Fidel added, her voice flat. "A demon joining a religious order not on the demon's side doesn't make a lot of sense. Might even make your sponsor angry," She added.
That made everyone think, and I chuckled. "There is one other way, though," I said with a grin, "Why not have me seduce someone of their order? Maybe a weak paladin or a new conscript?" I asked.
I smiled, and everyone else was lost in thought, and I chuckled. "There are many ways to do this. I will look for a target because you are right. We need to start searching. Let's start, and I will see if, with Viccy and Iona's help, we can find a mark to suitably 'bribe' for the information we need."
The conversation lasted past breakfast, so with those nods, we all got up and prepared to head out. As a group, for the first time in weeks, we headed out together with one cause to bring us together. I was hoping we could solve it soon.
