Trap Online Chapter 194: Period?
🕑 Added 2023-11-12 11:44:30 +0000 UTCI more or less collapsed outside of the pod onto my feet, and I stumbled more or less over to Gabby, who looked very surprised at my condition. Gabby didn't say anything, though and took me in and put me on the table, and I started to relax as she put me into heaven, and I passed out under her magic fingers.
When I awoke almost an hour later, Gabby smiled and helped me off the table, "You passed out for a bit. Are you okay to shower?" Gabby asked.
"Y- Yeah?" I said but the words came out more as a question as I was not sure. I got up off the table, my legs were good, and I sighed in relief. "Yep, seems I am good," I told her, more reassured now.
Gabby sighed in relief and I heard Li call out that it was dinner. "Tell everyone to start without me," I said to Gabby as I was leaving, "I need a minute in the shower," I told her, covered in oil, as I stepped out of the room.
I walked into the shower not long later and I felt the heat hit me. It was great working hard for an entire day and I loved it. That ward was incredibly difficult and intricate, and the sense of satisfaction at the completion was something like a large merger without issues done. It was satisfying, and the dopamine hit was something that drug users would clamor for.
I sighed in my shower and found myself slipping down the wall on my back and slowly sitting in the shower with the heat pouring down on me. It was like something of a resting period and I sighed in satisfaction. I lost myself in the heat of the hot water that never seemed to stop. I loved this about showers after I got money. I didn't have to care and the place I was living in would never run out as the heater was just that good. I laid back and the steam rolled out as a small fan took it out of the bathroom to stop it from damaging the walls.
I relaxed in a way I hadn't done in so long that I never even noticed when Victoria slowly pulled aside the shower curtains. "Hey," She said softly, and I jumped a little and looked at her worried expression as I sat on the shower floor. I could see a clear concern and worry like something might have happened.
"Hey," I replied, "just relaxing and just sitting down and enjoying it," I told her, "Have I been here long?" I asked, looking at my wrinkly hands that were waterlogged.
"About an hour now," Victoria said as she started to strip. I watched as her breasts came out of her bra, and I smiled as she moved forward and sat beside me in the shower. "Is something on your mind?" Victoria asked, concerned.
"Other than the fact someone is embezzling from my companies while I wasn't paying attention?" I asked, "Not really," I said honestly, answering my own question. "Today, I finished that permanent Ward in the game and I feel really accomplished. That was damn hard to pull off and I realized no one will be able to see the work it took me to finish but they will feel the effects. Honestly, I was just taking in the dopamine hit of the accomplishment." I said with a smile, turning to her.
I looked at Victoria and I smiled and she smiled in reply, "Well, that is good to hear; I was a little worried you slipped and fell, if I am being honest," Victoria told me, and I nodded.
"I didn't think I was in here for an hour," I told her and something came up on my mind. I didn't know why it hit me, but I looked down at Victoria's legs and realized something. "Hey, you know I was just thinking," I said out loud without much thought and cut myself off to continue this line of thinking.
"Yeah, What about?" Victoria said with humor in her voice and I thought about it more.
"When was the last time you had your period?" I asked, looking up at her face.
Victoria was smiling, and then I saw her eyes widen for a moment. Then I saw her start to think and then look down at her legs and look up at me, and her eyes turned serious and wide. "I- I- I don't know?" Victoria admitted.
"Are you on birth control?" I asked, knowing I should have asked earlier, and Victoria shook her head. "no, I always just kept track of it. But I have been so busy lately that I thought it might have just been the stress of everything, and I have made a bit of progress downstairs in the lab. So, I just never thought about it. We are playing when I am not in the lab, so I never thought of it!" Victoria exclaimed. I could see her moving to jump up and stand.
"Hey, just book a doctor's appointment in the morning or at night and go in. I will cover the extra expenses. Never a bad idea to get a check-up, right?" I said and Victoria took a deep breath.
"Yeah, Yeah, it is okay; I will slow down and get an appointment. Mind if I use some of your money to make it all go faster?" Victoria asked, clearly keeping the anxiety out of her voice.
"Yup," I replied, trying to keep my voice level as I realized the practical problems of what I thought might happen might happen. I shook my head, refusing not to put the words out into the world of what might be happening. I didn't know how to feel and I got up with Victoria, who started to look anxious. I could tell that she never even thought about it as much as I did.
Something in me wanted to blame her for not thinking about it, as she was literally a practicing doctor if she wanted to be. That was just the immature part of me speaking, and I bit my tongue and followed her out to dress and eat. By the time we went to bed, we were holding each other, trying to take comfort in the other, hoping.
I didn't know what I was hoping for. I was just hoping.
