Trap Online Chapter 188: Investor
🕑 Added 2023-09-02 14:44:52 +0000 UTCHeading back into Lady Yancy's brothel wasn't something that I was completely looking forward to, but it was also something I needed to do. Getting in and going up to my room, that butler guided me up to Lady Yancy's room without a word. Entering in her office was something that I wasn't expecting to do.
Moments later, I was brought in, and Lady Yancy was not looking happy.
She sat at her desk; her frown etched in marble, it seemed as she looked at me. "What did you do with that young man, Mark?" Lady Yancy asked.
"Mark? I played with him, and he came to talk with me yesterday as I was working on my house." I replied, keeping my calm.
Lady Yancy looked at me and didn't seem to be buying it. "I heard that yesterday, after visiting you, he quit his job. Now, I got a complaint that he believes I have scalped his Senior Blacksmith, which I find very odd. I wouldn't mind doing so, but I seemed not to have a smithy that would be able to accommodate someone of that caliber." Lady Yancy sneered, "Now, Tell me, Elli," She said much more slowly, "Tell me the truth," She finished slowly.
I looked at her and thought about what to reply with. Lady Yancy seemed to be taking heat, and Mark looked for my ass. But that wasn't what sold him to my house. Instead, it was the Permanent Ward that I planned to set up in the Smithy. However, I did not want to tell her about that part, and I wondered if I could bring her on as an Investor. It would be a risk, but it was a shortcut in the early times of business.
Mark was the laborer, but we still didn't have everything set up in the warehouse at my place. We would still need materials and things to sell. Then, we would need to sell somewhere, and I decided to take a shot.
"Lady Yancy, I have a warehouse where I live, and while Mark and I were enjoying each other's company yesterday, I may have floated that I had nothing to use the warehouse for. It has enough space for a smithy, and well," I grinned, "Mark is very infatuated with me and wants to be around me more. When I proposed that we could set up a smithy there," I let my voice trail off and Lady Yancy frowned.
"Only let it slip?" Lady Yancy asked with a sneer. But her sneer slowly was replaced with a frown as she started to think. "A Senior is fine with your warehouse instead of a good proper smithy with everything in place. I doubt it but Mark also has nowhere else to go without making his own business. What are your plans to do with your," Lady Yancy paused to think, "Lover," She finished a moment later.
"Well, What do you do when you have a skilled laborer?" I asked, "I mean, put them to work, right? Start up a small business and see if it can grow. I might not have much now, but in the future, I can start up a little something and make some gold," I told her with a smile, "That is how you get where you are now. Then people come to you to get money, and things escalate or you lose business, and no opportunities come your way," I said with a shrug, "Would you like some benefits? You can get a nice part of the profit with a bit of gold and resources." I finished the pitch and noticed that Lady Yancy was no longer frowning. Instead, she looked interested.
Minutes turned into a half-hour where she stared me down, looking at me. I could tell she was thinking or maybe even communicating with someone. I was unsure but kept a steady gaze as some bosses did this in the real world to unnerve the person pitching. It was a very annoying tactic; all you had to do was remain calm and serious to counter it.
"Little Succubus, you are playing a game that you might not be able to handle in this City," Lady Yancy replied.
"Lady Yancy, there are two people in the world, those who take risks and those who die taking risks," I told her, "Life always has risks, and as someone who adventured and worked for you. I took a risk to gain something. Now I take another risk, asking if you would like to take a risk." My reply came out, and I saw her smiling now, although everything I said was life bullshit that some CEOs liked to spew.
"Very well, what are you looking for to Invest?" Lady Yancy asked, "And how much would I profit from it?"
I grinned, "That remains to be seen as I was unready to pitch with you, Lady Yancy. I have yet to find out the overhead and the investment I need. How about tomorrow? Since I plan on taking customers today, I can go and learn what the initial investment I need is, and we can talk profit share and investment incentive after?" My reply was sharp, and I could see her smiling even larger now.
"It seems I have taken to underestimating you in our short time together, little Elli. I have a guest for you, too. I am sure that you remember Lady Greencloak?" She grinned savagely, "She was quite happy with your services last time and requested another day with you, and I needed something to take to Mark's previous job to tell him you have been punished. I am sure that you will remember not to mess with my business associates here in the future. But come to me with a proposal by next week, and I will see about your gold troubles for a share of your profits," Lady Yancy chuckled. "Enjoy your time with Lady Greencloak, Elli. I am sure she will. You are dismissed."
With that, I was walking out of Lady Yancy's room, and Ryan ushered me toward the room where I usually entertained guests. My heart was swelling with earning a potential Investor at the same time. I realized I was about to be fucked in so many ways. My asshole was already trembling as we walked closer, and I was shaking, not knowing if it was from excitement of what was to come or trepidation.
I didn't have much time to think. As soon as I entered the room, Lady Greencloak was smiling, and I barely registered when I lost my clothing to the point where I was bent over onto the bed, and my lubed asshole was being penetrated.
