About Armor mods:
Monster Hunter Rise uses a classic method to achieve Armor Change system. There are 5 parts for each armor set: helm, body, arm, waist and leg, each part have their independent model. Body and leg armors also contain body skin model, and beware it’s different from real world cloth logic, your character actually doesn’t have a permanent body, body is merely a part of armor, when switch to another armor, body was switched at the same time, so even if you made some changes to body shape of one armor, it will never affect other armors.
Some armor mods will demand certain body shape mod as necessary, but what they need are only the skin textures, body shape mod usually only affect inner wear, armor model will still need to be edited manually by mod creators.
