๐ Happy New Year 2024
🕑 Added 2023-12-31 22:45:49 +0000 UTCJust over an hour until midnight here for me, so I figured Iโd post my little personal new years drawing now. 2023 was a mixed bag for me, but overall I can say Iโm really proud of myself. Back in January, making it to December felt literally impossible, so Iโm glad Iโm here to celebrate the new year and Iโm glad Iโm happy. I have a feeling 2024 will be a good one.
I also threw in my 2023 art summary, I do one every year and itโs fun to share! Iโm pleasantly surprised looking at the complete summary. I feel like I didnโt draw as much this year, Iโve mostly taken time to focus on myself, re pivoting my life and my goals, with the plan to shift career I really pumped the breaks on work. I remember thinking to myself that my art summary wouldnโt be very good this year because of all these factors, but looking at it Iโm super happy with the work I have mad this year. Iโm in a tricky situation with art right now, Iโm horribly burnt out and doing my usual work related stuff feels mind numbing, so the pieces Iโve drawn that have been genuinely passion filled feel even more special to me. Really pushed myself out of my comfort zone with art this year, learning to draw humans, trying thinner linework here and there, itโs all been super beneficial. Iโm rambling now so Iโll wrap it up, but I do wanna say thank you all for your support in 2023 of me and my work, I know I havenโt been the best this past year in terms of content and what not, but Iโm ever so grateful for the love and community weโve built here. I wouldnโt be anywhere without you all and for that Iโm eternally in your debt ๐ค happy new year everyone!! ๐
