Not a whole lot to say here either. Here's the final versions of what was completed late last month. Let's get right into it :3

First we have the finished version of that thing I was doing for RetroInferno. Considering it fought me a lot of the way, I'm liking what I ended up producing. Something that's definitely not the case often is that I have to put more time and care into the background, rather than the central character, but this was one of those. Not so much the design of them, but rendering all that architecture falling apart is a lot more challenging than you'd think X3
The second bit is something for a local friend of mine who commissioned this as a door-sign for him and a friend of his for a con. The image is a screenshot from an old, german sci-fi series called Space Patrol Orion, which they had me paint their characters over onto.
I haven't actually looked into the series, but apparently it was really good (for it's time (?)). It was interesting to do a photo paintover though. It's been a while since I've done something like that and it's a good opportunity to refine those greyscale values :3

I originally had the first page of that Maia comic to show too, but I noticed some miscoloration continuity issues that I'm gonna fix before showing that off X3

Thank you =^w^= Yeah, I'd never actually heard of it myself either, though I think my dad might have mentioned it at one point. I know he was a big fan of Perry Rhodan.

Wow. That is a spectacular image. Amazing work. And it's great to hear that you're happy with it :) And the Space Patrol Orion picture is really nice too. I haven't seen much of it, but yeah, I got the impression that it was pretty good for its time.
