As I mentioned in the public post, I'd always loved the idea of discreet's lanterns and today I decided was as good a day as any to warm up with one ... hah, another pun.
Honestly, as far as I know, discreet hasn't published anything truly specific about them, but their concepts of the world are fascinating and I love every bit of art they do post of it. The pinups and lewds are just a nice cherry on top as far as I'm concerned. Makes you wonder whether they deliberately reel the fandom in with the porn and then spring lore on them, like a smart marketing campaign <w<
Ah well. Also in public, I listened to the Loki outro on repeat in the background while working, because somehow I feel it works really well with what kind of world aesthetic discreet has hinted at in their artwork - or maybe one of their most recent Mylar pieces, planetary registration, also just reminded me of the TVA beurocracy aesthetic - I do feel it goes beyond that though.
Anyway, the un-blurred version will be posted for everybody in a moment and then I'm back to business :3

Yeah, I'm trying to be better about my uploading ^^; Thanks. Discreet definitely has a beautiful imagination. An RPG set in their world would definitely be amazing. I don't think that's their angle though. Here's hoping they'll do some kind of storytelling eventually :3

Oh no... did I miss this on FA? *checks* Ah, no, it's just real recent. Good. This looks great! Wonderful rendition of Mylar. I'm fascinated by Discreet's setting and creatures as well. One detail I particularly like is that their glow becomes stronger as they age, to the point that you cannot look at them directly anymore, so their elders live in lighthouses. If there ever is an RPG in that world, I'd SO play it :) Oh, and yeah, the title is pretty good :D
