Working Overtime BBQ & What's Left
🕑 Added 2025-09-28 15:04:46 +0000 UTC
Good evening — this is BBQ, still working overtime even though there are only two months left before the game’s release, and as a result, I’ve completely lost the motivation to write a dev log.
That said, even when I sit down to write something, no good topic comes to mind. Or rather, when people are in “work mode” or under mental pressure, they generally don’t feel like chatting. At least, that’s exactly how BBQ is feeling right now.
But to avoid worrying everyone, I’ll still write a short post — at the very least, let me give you a brief update on the project’s progress.
Ah, by the way, the Nebel discount on Booth is ending soon, so if you’re still thinking about getting it, please don’t wait too long!
Also, BBQ has listed some card sleeves for a friend — feel free to check them out if you’re interested.
First, regarding Demo 0.7 — BBQ thinks it’s very likely that we won’t re-lease it.
The reason is that the gap between version 0.7 and the full release will proba-bly be less than two weeks, and in that case, releasing a demo would honestly feel like a bit of a cash grab, haha.
As we mentioned before, the game has already entered the final polishing phase, and there’s not much left to do.
BBQ has even reserved about 20–30 extra days just for final checks. Of course, some bugs will still appear after release, but we’re confident we can reduce them to a level where normal play won’t cause frequent freezes or crashes.
Here’s what’s left on the to-do list:
1.Balance adjustments for the snowy mountain, snow temple, and Demon Lord’s Castle
2.Pixel art cutscene for the final boss
3.Trigger checks for all endings
4.Input remaining text for the prince’s villa
5.One HCG scene for the prince’s villa is still unfinished (almost done)
6.One CG for the true ending remains
7.Final voice recording session in early October, then integrate it into the game
8.Translation: Version 0.6 is nearly done. Version 1.0 will have about 20,000 more Chinese characters, and the translation should be finished by the end of October. However, the Korean version might not be ready by November.
