POLL - Next Plugin Improvements
🕑 Added 2023-04-19 16:50:19 +0000 UTCHi all, this poll is for the next public plugin I work on improvements/suggested features.
Since there are so many options, the top five plugins by vote count will receive improvements! Updates for all of the selected plugins will be completed before the next poll for plugin improvement becomes available.
Encyclopedia - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Allow battle music to play while viewing enemies 2) Add a "discover date" to each entry, which will display the date when an entry was discovered in that save file. This would be displayable similar to how other entry information is displayed 3) Autodiscover skills when used by enemies/actors, currently skill autodiscovery occurs when skills are learned only.
Crafting - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Unique items that cannot be crafted if the party already has one in the inventory 2) Option to unlearn crafting recipes on craft 3) Option to hide crafting progress window, and instead have instant crafting. Not really a feature but I would also look to refactor how this plugin handles save data, to move a lot of things out of save data which would mean you could change some things in the plugin manager and have it reflected even in saved games.
Plugin Commands - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Adding plugin commands for "pause" and "resume" for the game timer, 2) Adding a specific actor to the skill select plugin command to only select from their skills, and 3) Adding a plugin command to enable/disable loss in random encounters (and not game over)
Toast Manager - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Better control over toasts via plugin command's sound effects 2) Plugin command to skip a toast that might be in the queue to be displayed 3) Plugin command to disable/enable toast window display
Achievements - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Add a custom text field for rewards. This would help explain any manual/evented rewards to your players. With this update, I would also look to refactor how this plugin handles save data, to move a lot of things out of save data which would mean you could change some things in the plugin manager and have it reflected even in saved games.
Professions - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Professions which can be per-actor instead of party wide. This is a big feature so some info on how it'd work: you would designate an actor the profession belonged to in the parameters, if this is left blank then it would be the current functionality of party-wide. Actor-specific professions. If using actor-specific professions, the scene will display a command window with the various actors to view their professions as well as a "shared" option to see party-wide professions. With this update, I would also look to refactor how this plugin handles save data, to move a lot of things out of save data which would mean you could change some things in the plugin manager and have it reflected even in saved games.
Screenshots - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Add a scene to view user screenshots (PC only) in game and 2) Add parameter to enable/disable functionality in mobile/web deployed games
Item Conditions - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Add a way to restrict item/skill usage by profession level (Integration with CGMZ Professions).
Save File - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Add a way to display achievements/points on the save file (Integration with CGMZ Achievements) and 2) Modernize control over display window with the drag+drop or delete ability to determine order of info displayed and what info is all displayed.
Splash Screen - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Add parameter to mark splash as "unskippable" with input and 2) Add text drawing on top of splash image
Infinite Balloons - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Add x and y offset for the balloon itself
Difficulty - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Add window padding parameter for each window in the Difficulty scene 2) Option to unlock difficulties through gameplay (plugin command to unlock difficulty)
System Settings - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Add text settings to what can be changed mid-game
Fast Travel - Changes for this plugin that have been requested that would be worked on include 1) Option to not show empty categories even if included in plugin command - call scene 2) A way to disable/enable fast travel points after discovery
At 11:59PM CDT May 5, 2023, this poll will close and I will start working on the 5 plugins with the most votes. In case of a tie, I will choose one of the plugins that received the most votes.
