[CGMZ] Autosave Enhancement
🕑 Added 2023-01-26 18:23:57 +0000 UTC
Hi all,
Today we have the previously voted on small plugin for January: Autosave Enhancement.
With this plugin, you can have more control over autosaving. This includes turning on/off map and battle autosave functionality individually, whereas the built in autosave either is ON or OFF in every situation. It also comes with a new plugin command to force an autosave, that can optionally ignore if autosaving in that situation is turned On or Off.
The other major feature of this plugin right now is to show an Autosaving... window on the screen for a short time while the game autosaves.
If you would like to see anything else other than what is already present with the plugin, please leave a comment below or in the #suggestions channel of my discord!
Happy RPG Making!
Beta Release: Hi all, this plugin is now in the Beta stage of development 🎉!
This update converts the autosave options for both battle and transfer to saved data, so now you can turn these autosave types on/off mid-game. This might be useful if you want autosave to occur on map transfers between towns, but not during map transfers during dungeons. You might also want autosaves to occur after normal battles, but maybe not during a boss gauntlet which could potentially soft lock the player if they barely beat one battle and are immediately thrown into another where they have no hope of winning.
