POLL - Next Standard Plugin
🕑 Added 2024-03-06 00:01:30 +0000 UTCStandard plugins are plugins that are expected to require about 2-3 months worth of work. Please note that since development can have unexpected surprises, there is no guarantee that this plugin will be completed in the given time frame.
For the next CGMZ Standard Plugin, would you like to see...
Skill Levels - Allow your actors to level up skills by using them multiple times. Cast Fire lv. 1 enough times and it becomes Fire lv. 2. You would be able to use the skill level in the skill formula. For enemies, you would be able to choose which level of a skill they can use. This would also come with a scene to view skill levels. For initial launch, it would most likely be limited to party-wide skill levels instead of actor-specific skill levels.
Jukebox - This plugin would add a new scene to your game where the player could browse music they have collected. They can also change the BGM via this scene as they select a music they want to listen to. There would be a plugin command that you can call to get the current BGM the player selected via the jukebox, so you could event things differently depending on which track is currently playing.
Notepad - This plugin would add a notes scene where the player could select a note slot and then type anything they want into the note using the keyboard. This would allow the player to write things down in game if they feel the need to remember it later.
Recruitment Board - Recruit your actors from a shop-like interface where players will be able to see the actor, their class, their starting level, and a short description that they can then select to see a full breakdown of the actor and how much it costs to recruit them to the party. After being recruited, the actor would disappear from the recruitment board.
Ring Menu - This would replace the default menu with a ring menu, which shows icons in a circle along with a helper window to explain what the icon currently selected is for. You would be able to link together ring menus, for example you might have a ring menu with an option for "Skill" that then led to a ring menu of the actors in the party you could select from to choose which actor's skills you wanted to view.
At 11:59PM CDT March 25 (Monday), this poll will close and I will start working on the plugin with the most votes. In case of a tie, I will choose one of the plugins that received the most votes.
