It's THE episode

Sloopgamer

No surprise at all. 116, 126, 131 and 135 gonna stay as the one of most watched hxh episodes of all time. For many one of them is the best episode of all time. Togashis run was insane. Under many first reaction episodes people say stuff like: Now that I know the reactor started hxh I'm gonna wait til 131 happens haha I too watched a lot of channels 131 reactions and no other episode

Hydro

Great, you deserve it.

Marcus Watty

One of the craziest episodes in anime if not the craziest imo

FILMBuFF

Looking at the analytics, yep it’s on track to go past that.

Tnv Madhav

“The elegy of the dynast” and “to give a marionette life” OSTs are definitely in my top OSTs of HxH.

Kon

HXH 131 is the best episode of the series PERIOD. https://youtu.be/K3d_k_21QPg?si=tdeANJht8xP_XZaA This is the legendary OST that accompanied Gon's transformatiom.

Tnv Madhav

131 is definitely top 5 hxh content

nabeel

I wonder if it will surpass your episode 47

Aflo

126 is great but 131 is THE episode everyone’s waits for when a reactor starts the show. My mind goes straight to oh wow I can’t wait to see film buff see the evolution of Gon through the chimera ant arc

Jay

Yeah probably the most popular episode of the anime and just one of anime in general, at least in the Shonen genre.

charlie

when i think of hxh i think of 131 honestly

Sacha

I mean it is kinda considered ‘THE HxH episode’ in the general fandom so it kinda makes sense. No surprises here 😆 generally regarded as one of the best anime episodes ever. Plus I think it has a lot to do with that it’s a very ‘reaction heavy’ episode. There’s a lot of emotions that happen when you first watch this episode and it draws people to watch someone experience it for the first time. More than the other great episodes in this series.

Yeah it’s expected, to me at least. More of a hype thing for the transformation. It was foreshadowed so early(gon is a monster, kurapikas contract etc..) it all accumulated to that moment. When someone starts HxH I’m waiting for their reaction to that I also have a personal game with this episode. before we see gons transformation clearly, the camera pans to him. You don’t see him on screen but reactors still move their head trying to see him. It’s a little game of mine to see if a reactor is gonna do that 😂
