DEIMOS ALPHA OF ALPHAS CH 45: Blessed

My heart is pounding. Breath is hitching. Excitement and anxiety make love in swirls within me. Biting my lower lip, hands folded across my chest my eyes gaze at the packed suitcase upon the mattress. Clutching the list tighter I read over it again in fear I might have forgotten something.
I have gone through the list over seven times yet a part of me urges to do it again. I read through the last thing to take that is scribbled quickly on the piece of paper. "Birth pills." I say aloud. A huge sigh leaves my lips as I read the word again this time seriously contemplating whether to take it or not.
With a quick nod fueled by my decision, I head out to the pack clinic. I am not doing this in fear of Deimos's wishes. I am doing this to protect both of us because mates lose their minds during the heat and I don't want something to happen that might cause regret.
Walking through the stony path between the fields of grass I greet all the pack members returning their smiles and wishes. Their smiles have gotten sadder trying their best to hide it but I can see it. They all know I am leaving soon but the females and pups have gotten attached to me so much that they don't wish for me to leave.
My eyes glance up at the cloudy sky grey killing and overpowering the light blue. The clouds are puffing up preparing to blow perhaps in a day or two. My heat will arrive on the day it shall rain. Deimos said he will calm the fire this time without sedating me. He wishes to be the mate I need during this time.
He joked he will sacrifice himself to me to do whatever I please. Thinking back to the way he said those words, eyes glinting with mischief a chuckle leaves my lips. Palm out pushing the glass door of the clinic I head in.
Nobody needs to know about my meetings with the healer. I have been meeting her every day for the last week talking about precautions and pheromones during my heat. I didn't know much so she taught me about it. Positions, contraception, and so on. I gained so much information that I am completely prepared.
"Luna Lumina." She says my name before I could even enter her office.
"Guaritrice." I give her a nod for my greeting as she bows deep eyes holding utmost respect every time she sees me.
"The classes were over yesterday." She says frowning confused as to why I am here.
"Yes, I know. I am here for something else." I reply my voice faltering. Am I doing the right thing? Who could even advise me on this matter but myself?
"What is it, Luna?" She questions preparing to grasp whatever I wish.
"Birth pills." Is all I say as her eyes widen. She immediately shakes her head in denial of my request.
"You know I cannot give you that. It is a risk, Luna. It might harm you. It is only meant for females who might die before birth or for those who were taken against their will." She whispers.
I listen quietly walking around the room my fingertips touching every nook and corner eyes scanning my surrounding. "I know. But I am willing to do so to protect the relationship I have built with Deimos." I reply to her worries.
"He will kill me if he comes to know, Luna." She trembles frightened as she speaks of my male for he is without mercy.
"Do not worry, I will make sure to tell him after my heat has ended." I finally meet her eyes.
"It is against my protocol to do this. You must understand the consequences I taught them to you, Luna." She begins to persuade me and I gaze out the window my ears tuning out her words. She doesn't understand. What I fought for, how difficult my journey was.
Deimos stands amidst the field pups running in a circle around him trying to catch the other as he stands still arms folded behind his back acting as a pole for the pups to play. I can see the twinkle in his eyes and the soft smile he is trying to hide as he looks at them.
"I love him." I whisper it to her and she stops talking. A soft smile reaches my lips as I watch my male. He doesn't know I secretly watch him like this. He doesn't know my eyes are always upon his flesh. Far away yet so near.
Turning around to face her I repeat the words I keep buried deep in my heart. "I love him, Guaritrice. I will do anything." I make sure to enunciate each word trying to make her understand the depth of my feelings. To understand why I am willing to do this.
She regards me quietly yet I see the hint of understanding she holds beneath her barrier. With a sigh, she walks to the cabinet thrusting her hands inside moving around bottles and packets. The sounds of glass clinking and packets shuffling reaches my ears.
"Powder or Pill?" She asks me.
"Pill. He will know if its powder as I must mix it in something. I need to hide this from him." I whisper as she shakes her head in disapproval again.
"What if this is not what he wants? What if this is what you think he wants, Luna?" She questions me. I don't answer her. Because I don't know and I don't want to find out. I feel this might be what is best for us. Moreover, he had mentioned several times he did not wish for it did he not?
My wolf snarls within me tail thumping harshly upon the ground. She disagrees with my actions. She hates it and I am going against her will.
Guaritrice comes forward holding a small strip containing two pills in its hold. "One before mating and one immediately after you possess his seed. Take it quickly don't wait." She cautions me and I nod taking the strip from her.
"Thank you, Guaritrice." I offer her a small smile but she offers me none in return still unhappy about my decision. I look down at the strip lying upon my palm. Such a small pill enough to block life. Enough to block a pup. A sad thought takes over my mind but I quickly brush it away. I must be mature about this.
"Here take this with you, it provides energy. Please be careful with those. I advise you to rethink your choice, Luna." She places a tiny bottle filled with blood-red fluid in my hand.
With a quick nod, I head out prepared to finish my packing. On the way, I find the stares of the unmated males. They keep their distance only taking glances and peeks of my flesh. They cannot help it, my smell calls out to them. I can hear the loud intakes of my scent as well as their eyes feasting on my hips, the doing of my near heat.
I walk faster trying to get away but am suddenly pulled back onto a hard chest. Hand thrust into my hair pulling, baring my neck. Teeth sink deep claiming me in front of all to see. Eyes land from one male to another as he snarls and growls from within his belly booming out through his chest. His beast threatens.
Wrapping my arms around him I let out a small moan indulging in the feeling. His snarls do not die rather loudens as he catches a whiff of the males' attraction to my hormones. I seem to be unknowingly seducing them. He holds me tighter indirectly urging a male to come near if he dares.
Extracting his fangs he allows his beast to emerge within showing it in his eyes. Pushing my head deeper into his chest he licks my cheek, the side of my neck and the flesh of my lips putting his scent all over me. I chuckle softly whilst lifting his shirt and placing my palm on his skin.
He startles and slowly begins to calm allowing his nature to rest. "Calm down, it is not their fault. You know that." I whisper soothingly in his ear patting him gently trying to ease his fur down. The unmated males begin to retreat and Deimos growls at every single one until they are out of view.
He finally looks down at me as I greet him with a smile. "Hi." He whispers gently placing a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Hi." I reply looking up at him my eyes soft.
"I didn't like the way they feasted upon your sight." He shakes his head, face distorted as if tasted something sour.
"But you chased all of them away." I reply with a chuckle as he raises an eyebrow.
"And there would have been bloodshed if they still sought after you." He replies not liking I find this amusing.
"You cannot do that. This is Giovanni's pack!" I exclaim.
Bringing me closer to him he bends and whispers into my ear, "Gio will understand that his uncle will not stand another male looking at what is his."
A soft blush grows upon my cheeks in response to his words. He always has his way with words. "Have you packed?" I ask him as he frowns.
"I thought my female was going to be packing for me." He says and my eyes widen in response.
"Are you serious?" I ask looking at the time on my watch getting a bit upset. I want to get to the place before the rain arrives.
"Don't females usually pack for their males? Isn't that a form of love? Oh well, this is quite disappointing. Here I thought my female would-" Deimos speaks feigning sadness but I can see mischief hidden behind the curtain in his eyes.
Before he could complete his sentence I place a finger to his mouth shutting him up. "Come." Is all I say grabbing him by the wrist taking him to our room. "We cannot go back home to get your clothes but since it is only for a few nights we can pack what you possess here."
Deimos lets out a soft chuckle and I sigh. We have each other wrapped around our fingers. I can easily monopolize him and vice versa. The wolves watch with widened eyes as they see me grab the Alpha of Alphas' tugging on him harshly to our room whilst he follows like a lost pup.
"She is mad at me. I think I will be punished." He whispers to all the wolves watching on the way. The females giggle to his words whilst the males stare dumbfounded mouth open staring at the scene.
Climbing up the stairs opening the door, I push him inside the room. "So what kind of punishment am I to receive?" He questions with a sly smile across his face whilst tugging at his shirt.
Quickly opening the wardrobe I take out the other suitcase. I brought it with me in case I needed another and I indeed did. "You should have told me earlier, my male. I did not know this was the case. You know my upbringing, I do not know of a lot of things." I whisper removing his shirts off the hangers and throwing them upon the bed.
Deimos slowly walks to stand behind me sharing his warmth with me, wrapping his arms around my waist he whispers in my ear, "I am sorry. I should have told you earlier." He leaves a soft kiss to the side of my neck.
Gathering two hangers that hold different shirts I lift it in front of us. "This one or this?" I ask whilst inspecting the color, material, and pattern.
"Hmm? Doesn't matter. Whichever you like." He hums eyes closed swaying us softly pleased with the feeling of his female close to him.
"Deimos. Hurry up." I urge him to choose. Opening his eyes placing his chin on my shoulder he gives them a look over.
"Didn't Ragon purchase that?" He questions staring at the dark navy linen shirt. It is quite loose on Deimos where his chest is always open for viewing but it looks really good on him. He looks delicious in it.
"Yes, he did." I say nodding.
"Then I will take the other shirt. I don't want him to see me in the one he bought me. He would run to hug me all giddy with happiness like a little pup thinking I love it." He says shaking his head as I laugh.
"Don't be like that. I like this shirt on you." I say with a smile imagining him in it whilst meeting his eyes through the mirror.
His demeanor changes, childish play erased the Alpha male rising. A serious look overtakes his face as he watches me taking in deep puffs of my scent. "I will take this shirt, Lumina." He whispers but his voice is deep and husky.
My eyes widen as his eyes grow hooded. "W-Why?" I ask.
"For I will wear it while I fuck you since your dirty little mind is showing me pictures of how well you like it on me." He moans in my ear as I flinch and blush hard to his words.
I gasp as he encages me deeper within his hold, my ass pushed onto his now hard shaft. He groans taking a whiff of my scent again. "Deimos." I whine trying to move away while his palms yank my hips backward bringing me to him keeping me in position.
"Lumina you smell so good. So sweet almost begging me to taste you." He growls lifting my shirt up placing his palm on my stomach. Skin against skin. I look away from him not wanting to fuel the spark that might lead to a raging fire.
My heat hormones have begun their spell, messing with his mind and body. Tomorrow all he will see and smell would be me and he would not be able to control himself. But he can now.
Before his lips could touch my flesh I quickly dodge and move far from him putting space between us. His eyes widen and instant surprise takes over. My chest heaves, breathing becoming harsher and so does his.
He bites his plump lower lip looking at me from head to toe slowly drinking me in. He takes a step forward towards me. Arm up, palm facing him I use my Alpha tone on him. "No. Stop."
He immediately puts the brake on his feet and I look at his hard cock straining against his pants. It looks painful as he struggles to stand comfortably. "Lumina." He groans with discomfort wanting release.
"We need to head out soon and you need to finish up on your own." I say pointing a finger to his cock. Biting his inner cheek he takes another tentative step forward. "In the bathroom." I order my tone strong. Taking deep breaths he heads inside shoulders slumped, head hung low upset he did not receive his treat.
As soon as he shuts the bathroom door, my body loses strength and I fall upon the bed. A little more and I would have given in to the fire. It took all my energy to be serious and reject his advances. I am a female with heat on the way, can he not see that I cannot bear even the slightest touch of his breath on my flesh.
My priority is to get to our destination. It has been so long since we got the chance to be alone somewhere. I don't want to lose it for a moment of need. He can take me how many times he wishes when we reach there.
I bite my lower lip as the sounds of his moans echo through the bathroom walls. He is pleasing himself. He grunts deep, the sound of him pumping his slick cock enters my ears and I sink my teeth harder droplets of blood fall down my chin. He is testing my control.
Quickly getting up taking my phone from the bed table I play some soft music to balance the sounds. Putting a few more shirts and home wear for him I zip up his suitcase putting it on the floor. My eyes light up as I remember something.
Thrusting my hand in my pocket grabbing the small bottle and pill strip I rush over to my handbag and place it in the inner pocket. Looking at my watch I find that it is time. A soft knock interrupts me and I open it to find a smiling Ragon.
"Are you both ready? The car is prepared. Shall I take the suitcases?" Ragon questions me as I give him a soft nod.
The bathroom door clicks open as Deimos pops out wiping his wet hands with a tissue his cheeks flushed chest heaving. Ragon looks from him to me and back to him with a smirk. I look away my cheeks burning as Deimos chuckles shaking his head slowly.
Deimos checks his watch and peers back at the two small suitcases. "Is the car ready? Have you filled it with gas? Full tank? If I get stuck on the way I will make you come all the way there. Walking." He threatens Ragon who merely laughs to his antics.
"Yes, Alpha." Ragon bows as I smile. He moves around me grabbing the suitcases rolling them out the bedroom down the stairs.
"Ready?" My male asks tone gentle.
"Yes." I reply with an excited nod. He holds out his hand which I quickly grasp. Switching off the lights shutting the door with his other hand he leads us to the awaiting car.
I find Ragon and Elriam leaning upon the car, waiting and chattering among themselves. Elriam swats him on the back of his head as he looks surprised and sends her a playful growl. They have become so close over the years. Elriam straightens as soon as her eyes land on us.
"Alpha." She bows paying her respect to me first before Deimos. Her loyalty never wavers and Deimos accepts that.
"Elriam." I give her my smile.
"I hope you enjoy yourself and not think too much about unnecessary things. Find peace within yourself, Alpha." She comes near and whispers the words into my ear startling me. Does she know about the pills? Did Guaritrice tell her? No, she would not dare to go against my words.
Deimos opens the passenger door for me and with one final look at the smiling Elriam I pop in playing with my fingers fear creeping within me. I don't want her to find out, she will be displeased with me.
"Lumina?" Deimos calls out to me as I wince and look at him. I squirm under his gaze as he regards me. His hand reaches toward my cheek palm placed over the side of my jaw cradling my face softly. "What is wrong, my female?" He questions frowning deep concern coming alive in his eyes.
"Nothing. I am just excited." I hold the back of his palm giving a gentle kiss to his wrist feeling his pulse.
"All right then. Let's start the travel shall we?" He asks hands on the steering wheel driving, engine roaring to life as he drives us out of the pack gates.
I buckle my seat belt whilst asking him, "Where are we going?"
"It is a surprise. Be patient." He states keeping his eyes forward often checking the rearview mirror.
The clouds are bloated stretching themselves preparing for birth. It will be quite a storm for the next few days. That means we wouldn't be able to head out caged by the four walls of the place where we will rest.
Reaching forward I play the radio as soft music overtakes the comfortable silence, bringing more calmness and peace.
"We will need to purchase groceries on the way." He whispers. Groceries? Are we not going to stay at an inn? Or a hotel?
"Groceries? Why is that?" I ask him confused. I have no idea where he is taking me which increases my curiosity.
"Because I will provide for my female." He replies. He didn't answer my question. So he wishes for this to be an actual surprise. I give him a nod in acceptance of his wishes.
He drives for another ten minutes and parks in front of a grocery store. Killing the engine taking the key out he steps out the car with me following close behind. The glass doors slide open as Deimos rolls out a trolley. I follow quietly behind taking in my surrounding.
So many have gathered here that there isn't any place to walk through with bodies bumping into me. I fall behind and try to keep up with the fast legs of my male.
Deimos quickly turns to grab me and brings me to his chest so I am encaged between him and the trolley. His hands are on either side of me palms clutching the trolley bar, his heartbeat pulsing through my back.
"What would my female like to eat for the next few days?" He hums his question in my ear voice deep and hoarse. To eat? Definitely that. I think to myself eyeing the meat between his legs. But I won't tell him, I don't want him to know how dirty his female's mind is.
"Italian cuisine?" I ask him as he scoffs.
"You have asked me something so easy for me to make." He says pumping up his chest showing his pride to his female.
"Make me the food you grew up eating, Deimos. The food that reminds you of home. Then teach it to me so one day I shall cook for you. And when you taste it you see home." I say with a soft smile upon my lips.
He quakes to my words, body trembling as his fists grip the bar harder knuckles turn white but I cannot see his face as he is hidden behind me. Bending down he places a soft kiss to the back of my neck. "What good have I done to have been blessed with a female like you." He whispers.
My eyes widen as I turn around to meet his eyes to see his truth for myself. I open my mouth to speak but no words seep out. My heart beats faster to the words he spewed in true meaning.
Giving a gentle kiss to my forehead keeping his lips still upon my flesh he continues, "You know it right, Lumina? That I have been blessed. Blessed with you in my life."
