I don't think any warning could prepare someone for this episode. As disturbing and heartbreaking as it is, it is also extremely important and thought provoking. The anime followed the manga perfectly. Kei Urana did not want to shy away from, nor make light of what Amo went through. At the end of the day Amo and Rudo are 2 children (both 15) who have been through trauma and need real love and friendship. Just a note on the chokers/collars: a lot of people on the ground have them, not just the cleaners.
