I watched guilty crown in January 2021 and it gave me a really intense emotional feeling I can’t explain, really great show

I’m not a manga reader at this stage but I’m tempted to read the manga for anime I liked but are seemingly never getting more seasons.

So sorry to hear about your cats, I almost regretted posted that comment. As I was unsure if it was a too personal question to ask you. But I was unsure if it was an old cat or a new cat in the background. Which sometimes makes itself known

9/10 times the author doesn't do much past the hook and it really does nothing positive nor negative to the story. but some people have such a hate boner for isekai they will deadass look me in the eye and say i love everything except the isekai hook so can't watch this 🗿

Glad to hear someone else say it. There is absolutely no difference between isekai and general fantasy. The difference is the MC is either born into the world or inserted into it. And once the MC is in, their previous world never comes into the picture again. It's mainly a plot device to explain why the MC has knowledge or skills that are alien to the world. I challenge you to name a few where the origin world matters, and I'll likely watch it. A bad example would be SAO. It's not really an isekai, but most of the plot is in the game, but the outside world still matters and affects the plot. The only example that I can think of that fits my idea of an iseaki is welcome to Japan miss elf.

Enjoyed this! I'll try and think of an interesting question for next time. I couldn't think of one this round
