Yea, this episode was actually pretty good! Personally, I prefer this fight because it looks so goddamn good in the manga, but I would agree that the Jade fight is better compared to this for the anime, it feels more intense and the stakes feel a lot higher. Regarding the end, LLoyd isn't with the church at all, he was just given the responsibility of "Crowning" the new pope for some reason, though I am surprised you didn't mention the 3 characters being teased at the end though. Overall as a season, adaptation wise this wasn't as good as Season 1, but personally, content-wise I love this season more due to it being more cohesive instead of Season 1 where for the first 6 episodes it's kinda all over the place. Either way this has serviced as a great way to combat the manga's recent 2 month hiatus, and can't wait for what the future holds

Overall a fun show, but those multi-episode fights throughout the show bugged me. I really like a good fight, but sitting through multiple episodes for essentially one fight just doesn't do it for me anymore. XD
