but HOLY not only best episode completely reshapes how I view drell!! see Alicia and him are similar but Klen was less manipulative than the darkbeast that is with Drell it seems which is probably why despite such friendship he killed him later cause of the voices in his head

I think Drel is like Alicia, killed and then filled with dark ichor. But Drel had the northen lord constantly whispering to him for years, and simply went insane. I think the sword can only consume the soul of the first kill. I won't be rooting for Drel either, I might be rooting for Alicia but it doesn’t look good.

From what I have read of the manga I'm assuming the anime will leave us wanting more. There is so much to be discovered in this world and I hope we do get a season 2 at some point

Clearly, the wizards and their magic incense seem to be the root cause of things here. It seems Drel hasn't been in control since the day Margo died. Remember, Drel died before he got his third eye. His soul is inside the sword; his body is just an animated corpse now. Apparently, the swords can suck souls, and I'm not convinced they're limited to just one. I won't be rooting for Drel. I'm not convinced he's in there anymore, and we have to see something from Luna to hook us for next season.

The one bad thing about this show is that it feels that there is not enough episodes left for a satisfying ending. I want a season 2 in 2026.
