Japanese people seem to love Takoyaki sooo much. I was always curious until I understood it has octopus in there. I simply can't imagine liking that. Not at all. I can't imagine myself tasting it next year in Japan.

Once in a while, you stumble upon an anime and, as you’re watching, dumbfounded, you think: man, the anime staff must have really liked this material. Because they took what could have been just an okay scene and transformed it into a damn, why is this so good? type of scene. I found this anime in the middle of the night before going to bed, and let me tell you that was a real torture. I felt every single crunch of that bread in my soul. I’m a skinny guy, food is usually just sustenance for me, but in that moment, when she dipped the toast into the leftover stew, I was ready to spill all of my secrets too. The stupidity of this show is off the charts, so be ready to facepalm every time the demon king finds another reason not to use the information they gained by feeding sorry, ‘torturing’ the princess.

Watching your expectations get subverted every couple of minutes is fantastic. It's not Nokotan levels, but I call it SoL. I think there's a strong resemblance to Dragon Maid (content-wise). Also, the animation is really good; I don't get why some things are 3D, but the show is hilarious. Food porn is only half of it, though...
