"Georg" is a fairly common first name in Germanic countries, but considering Japan's love for Germany, I assume it was picked from German first names. And it is indeed pronounced "Gh-eh-org". I am very surprised that Arel hasn't learned magic yet. The show made a point that he got so good with a sword thanks to his mother, but in ep1 his father seemed to be a famous mage. And he didn't give him lessons?

That magic swordsman girl would probably never join his "harem" because she is also flat :D And i wonder why was it now possible to kill the demon by destroying the sword, wouldnt the people that sealed him away have done that if it were possible. Usually if the vessel someone is sealed in is destroyed he is freed.
