My Etsy Shop Has Re-Opened To The USA
🕑 Added 2025-09-23 23:59:32 +0000 UTCAfter the sudden introduction of new tariffs from the USA government that they weren't charging themselves on their end but were making other postal services from every other country charge them on their end causing panic and rushing and both Etsy and Royal Mail (the UK's postal service) banned people from outside of the USA from buying shipping labels to the USA... Royal Mail figured out what they were charging and how to charge it and is allowing the purchase of shipping labels to the USA again so my shop is back open to USA customers!
However, you might notice some slight price increases in order to account for these new fees, since I'm being charged 10% (or more depending on the type of item) of the item and shipping total in tariffs and an extra Ā£0.50 per order by Royal Mail as a handling fee. I can't afford to eat these costs myself and make a loss, so prices for almost all items has slightly increased and USA shipping has also slightly increased.
My usual dispatch time of 3-10 is also on hold and I'm currently working on a 1-3 week dispatch time due to injuring my shoulder a few weeks ago but I am hoping that within the next week or two I'll be able to bring that 1-3 weeks back to my usual 3-10 days.
And just to let you guys know in advance, I'll be staying with my partner and her family for Christmas this year so my shop will be closed from around December 14th to January 12th. The exact dates might change and I'll remind you guys closer to the time, but just have it in mind if you wanted to order anything from my shop for Christmas to get those orders in during November or the first week of December.
Thank you for being so patient, especially to anyone who had open orders that got delayed because of the tariffs, my injury, or both.
