I also wanted Daryl and Connie together (Vera here), so I had mixed feelings about Daryl and Leah. I shipped Daryl and Carol so hard a long time ago before we found out they are definitely just friends, so I really hoped Daryl and Connie would turn to be more than friends. Like showrunners, give Daryl some romance interest already lol!

I didn’t like Leah, I feel like showrunners were like Daryl and Carol will never be together, so let’s bring in a character who’s similar to Carol and have Daryl fall in love with her 🤮 I mean okay if Daryl and Carol won’t ever be a couple, at least put Daryl and Connie together not freaking Leah 😒
