The ending of the Whisperers arc turned out to be truly epic and emotional. I completely agree with you — they gave enough attention to the development of the Whisperers, the characters, and the fight itself, and it became a unique storyline (unlike the constant shootouts during the war with the Saviors). Yes, it’s really sad what Carol had to go through — the abusive husband, the death of her daughter, the situation with Lizzie and Mika, the conflict with Morgan, and then Henry… But maybe it’s exactly because she managed to survive all that and still stay such a unique character that I love her so much. Thank you for the reaction! :) Also, I’m really glad to see Maggie back.

So the last 6 episodes of this season are kind of like fillers. They were unable to start filming season 11 because of Covid so they made these 6 episodes to give us a little something while we were waiting for season 11. These episodes have to follow the covid rules so the episodes are with a very small cast and similar to a web episode with smaller individual stories.
