Blankey had great foresight in this episode. Even one of the last statements about how the real painted lady couldn't show herself because the river was polluted is spot on. Great reaction guys!

Yeah, Katara was always selfless and courageous. Oh that makes so much sense about the Painted Lady spirit!

I'm so glad you got to this episode, it was always one that stood out for me the first time I watched this series, just the way Katara will always help those in need. I feel the real Painted Lady spirit was trapped in the pollution as a water spirit and when they finally were able to clean the river from the pollution she was free to help again.
