Just clarification. No, Sacha was not already dead in the manga. Originally the creator wanted her to die at the point she saved the little girl in the village. His editor convinced him to save her. She dies at the same point in the Manga on the airship. Nothing major has been changed between the manga and anime adaptation. People share that bit of trivia way too early and it confuses reactors . Zeke is needed because he is royal blood and already a titan. Eren can only access the founders power with a royal blood titan. If they didnโt have Zeke, Historia would be forced to become a titan.
