lt is kind of a well known trope to show elderly people way more shorter than they were when they are younger. No idea why it's a thing, but you see it in most animes

Loved your rection =) maybe you would like to know that most names in this anime are german words and have the following meanings: Frieren = freezing, the hero Himmel = heaven, the priest Heiter = cheerfull, the dwarf Eisen = iron, the child Fern = distant and the one who wrote the spellbook Frieren is trying to decipher now was named Ewig = eternal
