Agreed. If he wanted t recapitulate his adolescent experience, there are easier and less risky options all around him, rather than a bounty hunter who he dislikes and who is clearly ureliable. But the music bit was excellent.

I have finished all four routes available in version 31 and so far the only sex scene that has been seemingly rushed, unnecessary and out of place was the William's Stag scene. It felt like it was forcefully smashed into the otherwise coherent and believable story.

My criticism about how Will is characterized in the encounter still stands. Far from me to tell anyone how to do their job of course, but as a reader, consumer and someone who loves the character a lot prior to this encounter, it would be amazing to see the scene revised in the future, as it´s at this moment probably the only scene that has left such a bad taste in my and other´s mouth. I just don´t see the sense of it being like it is.

In my opinion it doesn´t make sense for Sam to not be involved besides giving a thumbs up to the act. Like, to me it´s WAY too sudden going from "trauma about giving up control in intimate encounters" to "borderline BDSM with barely a stranger" so quickly. In my opinion, the scene just doesn´t fit with the character of Will at all, but if you plan on keeping it, it would not feel so forced if Sam was involved in the encounter, at the very least. This is all personal opinion, but i have seen similar thoughts floating around in fvn spaces.

Well, I would just keep in mind that: 1. Will has an extended convo about it with Sam before. 2. You as the player don't have access to the scene if you don't have high enough points between will and sam. 3. You as will can say no to the scene. 4. Will's prior interactions with kane, his reactions to sam in the bedroom, and his sketchbook did some foreshadowing about his innate attraction to Kane, and elements of BDSM. So it's not very forced at all in my mind, but, who knows what adjustments we'll go through when we do a final edit pass in the future.
