Poor Allister- he always seems to get stuck with the most hyper sexual of individuals! I think that is an interesting detail that Father couldn't 'talk' to the animals- because communication seems to be one of the FIRE's major goals in Dusk Acres, to be understood. I am sad that he maybe didn't ever get understood, even to the end. The green substance feels a lot like something HEART created- interesting it ran out. Maybe I was wrong that HEART is in Hymir? I do still feel there is a link between them though - we still haven't learned Hymir's sin after all. And I think he is linked with Father in this desire to be understood. The disappearing Home is interesting- explains why they ended up on a kind of failing planet in the form of the one we encountered- or at least one where resources were reduced. I wonder if that happened to the HH Ark too? And how does a planet vanish? The way VOICE (hi Cybil) put it they didn't deliberately destroy the goal of the Fire, just helped it when it no longer had a purpose- presumably now, whilst being shut down. And it does make me feel that VOICE deliberately fucked stuff up to get the patrons attention, but it didn't work until much later than they expected.
