It's pretty interesting how a number of the people here look closer to their kindled forms while others look like their normal selves. Guess it shows that their "ideal" selves can vary a lot. Also, based on Hymir's prior comment, it seems like the being that tried to kindle them seems to be trying to reform itself? Though this time it seems like they're doing it in a way that benefits the guys? It's always hard to see their actual end goal and view. Same with Hymir's goals. Ngl, that last panel is the best. Love the grin on Kalmin's face on that~!

btw, another hint to the cauterized being different? Kalmin "being in peak form, despite what he went through".... i wonder if DD/BB's chip alteration interrupted or changed the nanites in some way, and consequently any of his pups that he kissed, connecting to their chips and rewiring the nanites in some capacity. its why he was able to SEE R from a distance as well, the kiss established a connection.

Yep, my feelings remains the same that Hymir is some kind of precursor, connected to the living ship that seeded life on this planet. Interesting that ARKTO didn't die - it essentially became what it wanted to be, before it was enslaved by APEX, something that got to experience life through others, to bring things together in a singularity. Is this a good thing? Remains to be seen.
