Fenris high devlog update 17
🕑 Added 2020-06-13 22:00:00 +0000 UTCheyo guys! this week i've mostly been modeling and refitting some of the 3d models we lost last time. It was a good opportunity to practice again my blender skills since i've had to switch to a newer version of it
i especially enjoyed working with transparent textures for i think the first time ever, didn't expect it would be so easy to use them! i tried them with the water spout of the drinking fountain, making two intersecting planes that showed the front and the side of it without actually having to model it!
kind of happy of how the cafeteria counter turned out. Again, i learned a lot with this one, since at some point i had to add those bars you lay your tray in in front of it and adjusting the uvs (how the program interprets where to put the textures) accordingly
it looks nice and retro and it looks perfect ingame!
of course banana inquiry has been hard at work too and is carefully putting all the props in place and squashing any bugs that rear their ugly heads .
he's also been working on crafting a floorplan of the school using a program for building pen and paper roleplaying games maps, this is roughly how the building is shaped (don't mind the structures on the right XD) and i think it turned out magnificent! now to actually model it and place it in game!
also speaking of bugs one popped off that is kind of funny XD
i guess something's wrong with the face rendering XD he looks cute tho! but don't worry, banana inquiry is already at work to fix it!
anyways, that's it for this week, hopefully next time we'll be able to get you something spicier than props! XD See you next time pups ! awoooo!

Man it's coming really out nicely. I also admire the job you do with the details for the tilesets and the design of the objects for the game. I find it really inspiring and I wish one day to be able to draw like you do too with the colouring ^.^! As always great job, both of you guys. Keep it up, and please take care ^w^!
