a dragon, burning - page 1 complete, page 2 sketch and wip
🕑 Added 2020-04-09 23:01:13 +0000 UTChere's page 1 of the comic done! as hinner suggested last week, i think i'd like for this series to be made of a lot of smaller adventures rather than a linear one. But , to get there i think we need to get at least one linear story done with how the three became what they are today.
so i recycled a picture i did of how wurm and pip really met for the first time here. Of course i'll retouch and finish it as the pic was just a sketch, but i thought it was a good enough scene to include here. at the time i finished that sketch i also started to doodle his first encounter with ninefingers , but eventually i decided not to go with it. Basically in that doodle ninefingers was seducing pip to get to his jewelry, and i wanted to have pip's dad (i really need a name for him btw XD) find them out
i scrapped the idea ultimately because i wanted for pip to be a bit more inexperienced with things of sexual nature. So now he just infiltrated the castle as a stable boy and got caught red handed while being serviced by the castle's blacksmith, and decided to reveal himself as a master thief once he caught wind of pip's mission. Also changed his hair a bit, wasn't really a fan of that weird upright hairdo ?
