sketchy sunday 13: back to the basics
🕑 Added 2018-11-12 03:31:35 +0000 UTC hey peeps... so i've been thinking about this for a while and i think i really need for sketchy sunday to go back to y'know.. sketches. I've been trying my hardest to give you guys all i could because like i thought "wow these guys are paying for me and i need to somehow give them back something for their generosity" .. but , i have to be honest, doing 5 full color illustrations with often more than three characters and backgrounds in a day is kind of destroying me XD also it's detracting from my output in the things i opened my patreon for in the first place, namely my two game projects ( sorry i can't yet unveil one of the two >_>')so please forgive me for the sudden drop in quality for these illustrations, i understand if you want to leave, but i really really really need to ease up on these things or my whole output will suffer.
anyways now that the boring stuff is out of the way, let's tackle this new batch of sketches, shall we?

what would have happened if parker rite enacted his plans before steven got to met purple? well this, pretty much. Without meeting any resistance he and his weapon minions would have taken control of the entirety of beach city, making it a male only resort town with a tourist trap facade. Most of the residents would get driven out and only the most influential and rich patrons would be allowed to rent the expensive houses and use the fancy facilities. The town would soon develop a darker and darker underbelly , and gems loyal (but not too loyal) to the diamond authority would visit the city and be entertained by the mayor , who would often introduce his loyal human pets to his guests, to show how efficient his mind altering methods were on the human psyche.

in this "what if...?" issue that poses the question of "what if daredevil was actually a devil?" kingpin , frustrated by superheroes constantly disrupting his plan ,makes a desperate demonic pact with the ancient demon ma'at murdercock to seek for help. He subsequently becomes infinitely powerful and easily conquers hell's kitchen , driving most superheroes away with his newfound dark majicks . But the price to pay is very high. Ma'at starts taking things from the crime lord ,for each supernatural feat he perform. Gang members start to disappear , then his trusty lackeys, ultimately even his wife Vanessa. Without anything but his lust for power left, kingpin becomes more desperate and insane, sacrificing more and more to gain control of the city , until virtually nothing of him is left. His soul now belongs to ma'at to fuck and defile beyond recognition ...and so does new york .

I remember that I actually did suggest such thing for you not to overwork yourself with the high detail of the sketchy sundays, and yeah... I still think that, your drawings are great, and I love how you can manage such quality in such a short time, but I mostly came here to support your game development (and I suppose most came here for that same thing) so don't worry man, we all here love you all the same :9

Dood, you've been providing us with high quality content only so far, we're all very grateful for it and if you need to dial down a bit to be able to manage everything please do so, you come first. Also, as far I see there's not been a radical quality drop this week at all, these five look fantastic each one. But if I have to pick one in particular, I'll say that Kingpin's one is my personal winner; between the art style and coloring it truly looks like a page taken from a comic book issue of the 90's.
