🕑 Added 2025-04-03 01:15:01 +0000 UTCWell, another month has come and gone. They say April comes in like a lion, and out like a lamb. Considering the next city over had a tornado over the weekend, Iād say I believe it.
Iām currently on the road, headed out-of-state for an upcoming doctorās appointment on Friday. An eight-hour round trip, and Iām spending it binge-watching the recent Nintendo Direct, reading, and writing this up. Iām also noting down some lore bits, so if there are any grammatical errors, my bad~
Apologies for not getting G's confession scene out last week, but since I had downtime from Uni (Iām counting the days, hours, and minutes until this semester is over), I focused on getting more of Chapter 2 done. With the inclusion of Tsundere choices for MC. (If G can be one, then MC can too.)
Thus far, Gās confession/kiss scene is at 1750 words. I donāt remember if I mentioned it before, but if players romance G, MC is their first everything. First partner, first kiss, first person G studied with on Chrisā bed. G is very new to all of that, so who better to ask confession advice from than that olā spitfire? (āCammie Clarke at your service.ā)
Hereās a little bit of that:
Cam watches, arms crossed, nodding in approval. Heās surprised at how easily $g_name shifts from looking like $g_heshe would rather be anywhere else to looking completely enamoredāwell, with $p_name, not him. But wouldnāt that be a funny thought?
With practiced slowness, $g_nameās long slender fingers trail along the sides of $g_hisher glasses, lowering them completely. $g_HeShe tucks inky black strands of hair behind $g_hisher ear. $g_nameās lips curl just at the edges, as $g_heshe lifts $g_hisher gaze.
$g_HisHer dark eyes settle on Camās face, $g_hisher tongue darting across $g_hisher lips before parting slightly. Ready to deliver the last line.
Instead, $g_hisher brow arches, and $g_hisher eyes squint.
āWow,ā $g_name mutters. āYouāre so blurry.ā
For a second, thereās dead silence. Cam laughs loudly, slapping his leg so hard he nearly chokes.
āHoly shit,ā he wheezes, doubling over. āYou had it. You had it.ā
$g_name huffs, folding $g_hisher arms over $g_hisher chest before looking back to the street.
āAww, $g_name, cāmon, donāt be upset.ā
āIām not,ā $g_name blurts, a complete lie as $g_hisher lips begin to pooch out.
Cam gasps. āOh my god, youāre actually pouting!ā
$g_name shoves $g_hisher glasses back on, scowling. āShut up.ā
Theyāre honestly too fun to write together. I always imagine G with a perpetual frown, and Cam is just the guy poking their cheek, smiling ear to ear.
Another fun pairing that gets a little bit of spotlight in Chapter 2: Ardent and Cupid. Thatās right, that big ball of fluff gets her time to shine. (Donāt worry, Angela will not be harmed. But you will learn where she came from in this chapter.)
Iāve also been organizing code. A friend of mine has been kind enough to help me look it over/clean it up. They offered to do the coding for me, but Iād prefer to learn it. That way I can troubleshoot problems (like that stupid resume button). Their payment? Ramen and fried chicken~ Itās a fair trade, I think.
With every new week/month, I keep track of how many words I write and tally them all. I do this to hold myself accountable and see whatās working and what isnāt. If Iāve barely made progress on a specific scene, Iāll look it over and figure out why Iām struggling. Sometimes itās as simple as needing a little switch in character setup, sometimes I just need to get my ass outside and get some B12.
I felt like I was dragging last week, until I saw the tally.

I want to give a sneak peek of some of the Roās dialogue from Chapter 2. I think Iāll leave it up to a poll, though! Iāve got some fun little character tidbits to share this month. I may or may not have made some Ro quote stickers... and if I donāt end up making them to send out, I might just release the digital file. TBD!
