Fertility Ritual - Thoughts...
🕑 Added 2024-02-10 17:55:56 +0000 UTCHere's what I was trying to get done this week, I started out really focusing on brainstorming for Fertility Ritual. I started out revisiting my notes, reorganizing them, and thinking about all the things I wanted to do and add in and-
I'll admit it. I got overwhelmed.
The sheer scale of the project got away from me, and I realized that I was being a bit ridiculous. *Thirty* characters, each with a planned three sex scenes, as well as a scene out of kink gear and possible endings? Even at the bare minimum, that's more than 90 unique scenes, that likely would have unique artwork.
It was all so big, that it became impossible to wrap my head around. And I needed to take a mental health day. During that mental health day, I started to realize that I've begun to mythologize and over strive for this project. I do want it to be great- but I might be rushing it. And I can't rush it, I can't force it. And I need to really think about how I want to approach it if I want to make it all that it can be, without destroying myself to accomplish it.
I'm giving some more thought to the structure of how I'd want to work on it. And in the mean time, I'll let myself experiment, make little scenes and games to keep learning and hopefully build more interest in my brand as a horny game developer.

I enjoy reading about the backstories. Even if they are not all included in the game it's still fun to gather information about characters.
