Hand Practice [Behind the Scenes]
🕑 Added 2024-12-03 15:15:42 +0000 UTCFun fact, these sketches were actually done for that cancelled project I talked about a while back. I don't mind the way I usually draw hands, it's simple and efficient enough to get the job done, but I wanted to really try and get hands down, at least for shots that would focus on them, for this project.
I wanted to do something special, something that I don't often do, and with the context of the project, I felt really defining and expressing certain moments via hands was perfect. When it came to this project, perfect expression was the name of the game. I wanted to make sure I got every feeling on the character's faces just right.
I recall every hand shot together taking me several hours to perfect, sketch after sketch after sketch; Boy, what a trial. I'm definitely not a master at drawing hands, I'll be staying in blob lane for now, but at the time I made it, I was actually pretty proud. Anyways, thanks for listening and I hope you guys like!
