i love everything about this but i hope that they aren't hooking up 😭 i feel like the letter that onyx left keane in the S2 premiere kind of shows that onyx knows that hooking up or having sex as a coping mechanism is not a good thing to do

Well I for one am guessing new guy is his new hookup, Onyx prob felt like he needed to clear his head and have a new start, without all the baggage. It’s not like he actually believed that Keane completely liked him (is that mostly internalized homophobia at this point?? Cuz the ignoring of Keane’s boundaries, his words, etc in favor of his obsessive rejection theory was getting pretty ridiculous). Maybe New Guy will be helpful as an outside observer—all the gender/cross dressing play aside, someone needs to get thru to Onyx that YES, even straight presenting people can be VERY QUEER, in fact.
