I don’t think Kai is allergic to shellfish and seafood. That kind of allergy is usually pretty severe and isn’t something you just go to the bathroom for, and it doesn’t look like he has hives. I think he just has the ick for seafood lol! 😂🤣

I love the dynamic of it all because it's clearly supposed to be slightly toxic BUT you can so tell that they're both into the slight toxic nature of it bc they both see it more as a challenge. Kai can definitely tell that Axel is the type that if he REALLY didn't wanna do something he 100% wouldn't.
