My predictions for the future is that keane doesn’t figure it out maybe they make out at the party but that complicates things. Your looking at it from the wrong perspective. Keane is under the impression that onyx is not interested in furthering there friendship currently. In the chat they are not pretending to be different people, they are just anonymous. Keane is picking up on all the characteristics of onyx through the chat that he likes there for he "thinks" he must be starting to like this person he's talking to. He lacks a certain level of deduction skills tho so he has not really picked up on the possibility that it could be onyx. Onyx is much more perseptive then Keane so he has already started to figure it out. I think had the situation been that onyx had told him he was interested but not ready and then Keane talked to the online friend as though he wasn't already pursuing someone else then that would be teetering the SUS level of hoeing to which you speak. Sorry for the long response lol I can't slow my brain down.

i think keane knows its onyx, he just doesn’t want to scare him off so he’s playing along, until onyx confronts him. that’s why he wished him goodnight to keep him on his toes lol i think axel and kai are going to have a interesting ship, if it even comes as friendship or relationship, it’s going to be a ship and it’s going to interesting to see it unfold or blossom into something pretty idk

PARTAYYYY! Yes, finally they will connect officially as Username Taken and Nocturne (I swear there better not be a wrench thrown in them meeting or I'm burning everything down 😆). I feel like Keane has figured it out by now. Yes, he's dense, but not stupid, lmao. I'm sure he's picked up on some of the characteristics of Onyx through the messaging. The way he said, "Goodnight Onyx," right after his last text felt like he was talking to the same person (technically, he is). Onyx is so cute with how he's basically being jealous of himself, haha.
