Some people were starting to give up on her and I get it 7 years is a long time for an album BUT when you have a masterpiece like IOP I totally get the nerves and scareness. The only thing this album made me realize is Summer Walker’s evolution and how much I miss her. The only good song on this album was the BIA diss, respectfully. I understand the message she was trying to convey and the track-listing was smart, but I just dislike the tracks. I just don’t think she can rap; she sounds awkward on many of the tracks. I’ll give her credit for trying though.

I was pleasantly surprised with this! The singles had me nervous but I liked it overall. There were maybe 2 throw out tracks for me and I don’t think there was any need to add wap or up to the end. The two tracks before that were clearly the ending. Like you said it was for metrics, but she didn’t need it. She should’ve let the album stand on his own. Also, there was a heavy reliance on features at the top of the album, but she made up for it a bit at the end.
