The man in the last memory is her dad,(her actual dad ed butera acting) like is a memory of her with her dad like is a interpretation of her dad try to recover her because Ari and her dad never had the best relationship before and now with music and find herself through the music she decided to build a new relationship with him with love and leaving all bad situations and bad decisions behind, is so beautiful to see that, I get so emotional because I don’t have the best relationship with my dad and I know I’m not going to have that with him and sometimes is painful mentally, I cried a lot with the film so beautiful!!

So the newspaper said “doctors daughter torn apart by…” and kind of implied it’s by the media. The guy is the doctor and he’s trying to put his daughter back together again after she was torn apart. That’s why you see him finding pieces to put her together and when it doesn’t work he realizes it’s music that will heal her and he plays the piano which wakes her up. It’s played by her actual dad btw :) alsooo in the end of twilight zone u see her finding the necklace and in the flashback in Hempstead it’s the same one her dad gave her when she was young. BASICALLY it’s saying her family and music healed her again after everything she went through
