I feel like even the die hard barbs want her to get out of her usual realm when it comes to collabs. That’s why everyone was gagging when we saw her and FKA Twigs in the studio together. Those are the collabs we want. That’s what made the Pinkprint so good, cause we saw her go from Roman Reloaded to then collabing with so many unexpected people and changing the tone to a more stripped back vulnerable side of her.

One thing I will give her is that the vocals on the 4 bonus tracks were produced wayyy better than the singing songs on PF2. And especially the songs that are on the OG Pinkprint album. Whoever did her vocal production back then needs to come back.

I really feel like this all boils down to none of you guys respecting Nicki as a musician/ producer. The one thing I wish you’d do is go back and do more research beforehand so you can maybe have an appreciation for the work if you’re not familiar with it. Because idk maybe I’m off but the comments of this video reflect a populous culture of “you’re old, move out of the way” when… I’m sorry, last time I checked no one has surpassed the “old crackhead bitch” (no one said that here that I’ve seen, but it’s been said before). My point is, why is it so hard to appreciate Nicki’s MUSICALITY? Like in remember me, the “empty space” was ambient, I thought of it more as world building and less of “oh this is a scrap” is just sets a scene in my head. It’s also disheartening that she was rapping her ass off, and I saw you catch 1 bar. And there’s so many 😭 on top of that, nobody in the comments have caught the bars/ double/ triple meanings in some of the lyrics. Hhh I can agree cap backwards was never my fav mix, but the other three songs are really stamped with a good mix of her doing everything. And even in that one (cap backwards) she flexes all of her muscles. And if you’re over her calling herself “the queen” then I mean you’ve been over her for years, and you shouldn’t engage with her content.

2014 I was deployed when this album dropped. This is by far my favorite album of hers and I didn’t like the 4 songs for this album. It just took away from how iconic it is. She should’ve just released them on its own. I like Cap back but not for this album.

i knew as soon as i heard her singing on all them that you weren't gonna like it LMAOO! the songs do what they have to do for a 10 year edition i guess but they fall so flat when you compare them to the rest of pinkprint which is probably her most critically acclaimed album. pinkprint was so storyline driven and these songs FEEL like scrapped songs LOLLL and they were all leaked for 5-10 years now so it's even more lackluster...

overall these tracks were better if they stayed in the vault. the songs especially remember me felt unfinished. i wouldn’t have even known david touched if it’s okay cause it didn’t feel like a david guetta song. finally i could’ve sworn i read somewhere that nicki doesn’t do posthumous releases which is why the 2nd collab she had with popsmoke never saw the light of day. but oh well 🥴
