It’s so much better to be ambiguous and let the reader decide if it is due to a curse or not. Flat out saying absolutely not kind of ruins it and is disappointing. Not fully stating yes or no would have made the story better. That’s a shame, I was enjoying this

Curse does exist in this story but not in way you think. Cassie told me herself that there is no magic here. I can also confirm based on her anwer that curse takes form of vengfull woman or women and i repeat there is no magic here. Scroll back thorough the story where Dustin/Destiny finds hormones and realises what was going on. Valentina mentioned that she was dosing Dustin with anti androgens for a year before he was sentenced to home detention.

Oh boy, it seems i was right on the mark. I know there is no magic in this story which means someone was sliping something in frederic's food over there and water. The curse is nothing more than legend and it doesn't really exist. It's possible there was another woman who really didn't like frederic and that woman may have secretly slipping small dosages of hormones or something in his food as a revenge. I guess you're going with double transformation.
