Huh, I forgot there was (maybe?) a supernatural aspect to this story. BTW, in the Destiny Collection on your Patreon page, chapter 11 is missing and chapters 9&10 are out of order.

I don't think that gem is actualy capable of cursing one who finds it. It looks like lie to prevent people from stealing it. Also his son cursed himself with his actions. I hope there is no magoc here because i don't like magic as element in tg stories.
