Anthro Samurott Previews
🕑 Added 2025-02-14 16:00:12 +0000 UTCI've been developing a Samurott character in the anthro Pokéverse in my spare times.
His name is Melvin, and he is so far, hard to draw and colour - mostly because the helmet is bulky and whatever mysteries that lies underneath it known as hair. I ended up with giving him a cap that has the spiky shell motif. The second image is his most recent iteration and will be the one I doodle going forwards. The efforts of making OCs OTL

He looks great! The cap is a delightful design choice as a stand-in for the helmet. I'll again say I just love the way you render their hands, the posing and dimension you give them is so cool.

Oh, no, he's so pretty 🫣 I really dig ditching the helmet and giving him a cap instead. And that's one hell of a moustache, he probably spends hours in the shower taking care of it (or maybe it looks as good as it does because it's in his genes). Also, who's that Mightyena next to him? 👀
