Unused Gabumon OC
🕑 Added 2024-10-23 15:00:12 +0000 UTCBefore the Gabumons (Taro) and the Gaomons (still called Gaomon), and even the seldomly drawn Herissmon (sorry who?), there was the X variant of Gabumon!
I always thought they looked badass in a primal/positively uncanny way. In the end I didn't really go far into developing this edgier gremlin in favour of the more chilled and familiar pelt face:
(It may also be that the X variant and the evos were a lot more harder to draw consistently. And sharp)
Who knows, maybe I will revisit that edgier Gabumon again some time...
While I was digging around the layers of the Digimon drawing, I found slightly well hidden sketches that were Bomberman related. Very RPG inspired:
Must've been scrapped when I did that giant collection of Bomberman and Louie doodles in fantasy gear (uploaded to dA and later on Twitter).
