“Seriously, Ron?” Dean stared in amazement as Ron threw another chocolate into the air and caught it in his mouth, like a T-Rex using its teeth to throw up a deer carcass before guzzling it down.
“Wha?” He mumbled, wiping his messy lips. “If Harry’s not eating them, they shouldn’t go to waste.”
Harry grinned, leaning against the wall of the courtyard. The boys and he were enjoying the sun after lessons were finished, but being here meant the rest of the school — and the newly arrived Beauxbatons students — felt comfortable coming up to him.
He’d already had five bouquets of flowers and seven chocolate boxes, which Ron was making short work of. The courtyard was full of students — some of the boys were hovering on broomsticks, showing off to the girls. Some Slytherins were trying to sell their own conjured flower bouquets, but they kept wilting after a second. Lavender was surrounded by a gaggle of her friends, but she kept glancing over every two seconds to ensure Ron wasn’t with Camille.
Then the courtyard fell silent.
Harry knew who it was before he saw her. Fleur always had that effect when she entered.
The boys stopped to admire her — the gentle rustle of her hair as she walked, the jiggle of her breasts, the way her Beauxbatons skirt constantly threatened to reveal her asscheeks..and occasionally did.
Clap-clap-clap came the sound of her heels on the stone. She sauntered through the courtyard, apparently oblivious to the commotion she’d caused, or the venomous glares of the girls.
A boy on his broom suddenly zoomed into a column. The Slytherins’ conjured wilted flowers suddenly grew erect.
Harry watched his Fleur’s smile bloom when she saw him.
He hadn’t done well with her in Hogwarts. Now he had all-day access to her, he couldn’t get enough. Or she, of him. She’d come up to him every day, whether he was his friends or not, and simply pull him away with some imaginary excuse.
“’Arry, will you show me ‘Ogwarts?”
“’Arry, will you ‘elp me find a bathroom?”
“’Arry, I ‘ave twisted my ankle! Can you ‘elp me to ze bedroom?”
Everytime, Harry would go off sheepishly and his mates would gape after him.
This time, though, Seamus scoffed as Fleur approached.
“What’s it gunna be this time?” He said under his breath. “’Arry, I need help finding the Great Hall?”
Fleur’s eyes sparkled as she came up to them, tossing her hair back. “Bonjour, boys.”
“Hi, Fleur.” Neville said breathlessly.
“Morning. Afternoon, I mean.” Dean stuttered.
Ron swallowed his chocolate hurriedly. “H-hey, Fleur.”
Seamus just nodded.
All of the boys were red. It wasn’t easy for them to talk to Fleur, when they all knew that they had — and made frequent use of — the photos of her.
“’Arry,” Fleur put her hands on his chest and fluttered her eyelashes.
“Yes, Fleur?”
“I…I need to ‘ave my derriere filled by your big fat wand.” She purred.
Seamus choked.
Ron coughed up a few chocolate pieces.
“I…I can help with that.” Harry quickly took her arm and pulled her away.
As they left, the boys stared after her.
“It just ain’t fair.” Dean muttered.
Ron picked up one of the bouquets of flowers Harry had left behind and pressed it into Dean’s arms.
“…thanks, mate.”
