Hello all, and welcome back to... Meddenfirth??? Yes, that's right! We're returning to Meddenfirth, the first borough we ever published. This is the first of two collections of additional content we're creating for the setting. For now, we'll be taking a deep look at the land immediately west of the bridge city, and in a couple weeks, we'll show off scenes from east of the bridge.

Borough Guide
This borough guide presents seven scenes occurring just beyond Meddenfirth's western terminus. Some are dangerous, some are rather silly, and all are completely flavorful, expanding on the wealth of existing lore and worldbuilding. We also introduce a host of new NPCs, perfect for rounding out your Meddenfirth adventures.
Maps
Our map this week is the most non-urban map we've ever created, more so even than Ithivellia. This map is just... outdoors! West of the city, the Meddenfirth Highway stretches toward Thenniden proper. To accompany the various seven scenes from the borough guide, we have seven map variants that correspond with each encounter: Snowstorm, Lord Pandy's Parked Airship, Border Closure, Market Day, Crater, Weapons Deal, and Cannon Battery. Each of these maps seamlessly connects with either the original Meddenfirth map or our snowy variant.
As there are no proper buildings in our primary map this week, our patrons at the Chief Courier tier gain access to interiors for Meddenfirth's drawbridge / cafe AKA Izetta's Beanery. Run high-stakes political negotiations, casual downtime scenes, or methodical stealth missions in this complex, multifloor, meta-bridge arena.
Music
Our first new Meddenfirth music in years is "My Prairie Remembers," a lush orchestral arrangement meant to evoke the calm pastoral vibes of the Thennidane lands to the west. This track will find itself equally at home during ultra-calm roleplay sessions or bittersweet nostalgic moments. Additionally, our solo piano variant ups the emotional, evocative vibes to 11.
Shin Guardians - Collaboration with Tavern of Trinkets
Did you know that our very own layout designer Jelke also designs magic items for D&D 5e? Well, he doesn't anymore, but he definitely did! Tavern of Trinkets was Jelke's 5e item Patreon where he made oodles of beautiful and cleverly designed items. The project is now defunct, but he provided us with this awesome item for you all to use in your Meddenfirth adventures, the Shin Guardians!

Okay, if they're in there i must just be blind then haha. Cool. I'll get them included. Basically in our setting Candlekeep is a flying city; party of our setting his this (to spare you a lore dump) dragon-rule apocalypse. and to preserve the city, they keep it on the move. The Lions Way, the road exiting that would connect it to the greater Faerun is still 'attached' and is a stay-over for supplies and industry. I shooped out the water and have it nestled neatly across the road and cliffs, floating high in the sky. (the little bridge diner is a restaurant called 'the Mane Course' ;) haha) So, its ... an airship port now, called Liontail. I'm excited to get these buildings included, though. Thanks for the speedy response! I'll go hunt these down in my zips :3
Borough Bound
Meddenfirth now has three interiors: The UnForge, Izetta's Beanery, and the East Gate / Armory. These three buildings are the most important points-of-interest in the town, and each is multi-floor. You can access each of these via the relevant zips, though we will also be updating our Foundry module to include the three interiors in the next couple weeks. At the moment, we have no plans to create additional interiors beyond these three buildings.

So I'm way way late to the party here, but I'm spending the day going through over 300 Patreon emails from a mega busy work month for myself, quicky question: Will Middenfirth have interiors? (or i suppose a backup question, does it and i'm just blind...) I'm ending up repurposing this for a small town near another location, so just curious is all ^_^ I can use a million of the maps i have for any buildings i need to handle, but if they're on the way, I'd love to plan for that.
