Greetings all, and welcome to our newest borough! Ruvatello is a luxury resort hidden within a powerful illusion up in otherwise uninhabited foothills. It's kept secret from everyday society, it's impossibly expensive, and the weather is somehow always perfect. Obviously there's something fishy going on here, but who cares? Just enjoy the warm sun, bright moonlight, and refreshing waters. Grab a cocktail and bask in unmatched luxury.
Ruvatello will consist of four releases followed by a Definitive Edition. Please enjoy!
Borough Guide
Our guide introduces you to Ruvatello, including a detailed explanation of how and why your party might go there. Next, we introduce you to the resort's celebrity owners, the stunning Tioria and Garvaxo. They have a secret, of course—they're dragons, and this whole resort is meant to conceal their eggs incubating on the bottom of the lake. We explore their relationship with each other and the staff, and then we do a deep dive (pun intended) into Lago di Mirello and its guardian spirit Drabuvi.
Maps
Our first map shows off the path to the airstrip, the reception building, a couple villas, and the residence of the resort's owners. It's usually quieter here on the west shore, but if anything does get crazy, the verticality in this map will create opportunities for tons of great stealth, combat, or magical hijinks. For every Ruvatello map, we have the following variants: Sunset, Night Lights, Winter, Winter With No Ice, Bioluminescent, Fae, and Festival.
Patrons at the Chief Courier tier get access to two floors of the reception building. This will be every guest's introduction to Ruvatello, and it's where your party can meet the staff, snoop for secrets, and mingle with other new guests.
Music
Ruvatello music is relaxing and Mediterranean. Our first track is Your Every Need, a slightly jazzy, extremely cozy little Brazilian-inspired guitar tune. This is music that says "all is well, and please enjoy your drink." This can absolutely serve as your generic go-to "Ruvatello theme song," so put it on whenever you don't know what else to use. The Night variant is a bit stripped down and mellower, great for romantic jaunts through evening on the lake.
